Intoxicated driving case for HHSC lawyer Jack Stick two years old

County Court-At-Law Judge Nancy Hohengarten said after the pretrial hearing on October 2 that she will make key decisions about the two-year-old Jack Stick intoxicated driving case, The Texas Tribune reported.

One thing that must be decided is whether or not to admit evidence such as blood results. Stick’s attorney is fighting against this, as he claimed the Austin police officer who pulled Stick over did not have probable cause. Stick, a lawyer for the state’s Health and Human Services Commission, refused a breathalyzer and field sobriety test when he was pulled over.

Texas citizens have criticized the slow development of Stick’s case compared to the speediness of Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg’s driving while intoxicated case.

Driving while intoxicated can be categorized as a serious criminal offense in the state of Texas. Should you get charged with such an offense, employ the legal services of Ian Inglis today by dialing 512-472-1950.
